A research group including Associate Professor Katsuhiko Fujita from the Institute for Materials Chemistry and Engineering at Kyushu University, Kei Sakanoue from Pleades Technologies, and researchers from the National Defense Medical College (Yujiro Itazaki, Yuji Morimoto, and Hironori Tsujimoto) developed a wireless, implantable OLED device for metronomic photodynamic therapy (mPDT) targeting deep organ cancers.
